5 Solutions for Top Skin Care Problems from Environ

Skin Care Solutions from Environ

Skin and body hang ups aren’t uncommon. We all have them, whether you’re suffering from oily skin, dark circles or stretch marks – everybody has a skincare problem which they can often end up spending hundreds of pounds on in an effort to cure the problem. We are all too familiar with the problems faced by us all, which is why Body & Sole has chosen to work with Environ to provide top quality skin care treatments with real results.

Environ are experts within the skincare industry, first establishing themselves in the 1980s by introducing high effective levels of vitamin A to products. Environ products and treatments use the highest levels of Vitamin A and C that therapists can work with today, bringing you visible results. Their products target the most stubborn skin bothers, including some of the most common problems each one of us have experienced at some point.

We’ve put together a list of the five most common skin issues effecting both men and women, and a solution from Environ -

  • Oily Skin
Suffering from oily skin can trigger a whole range of skin problems including blocked pores and blemishes. It’s tempting to over cleanse and exfoliate, doing this you run the risk of stripping skin of its essential natural oils and unbalancing the Ph levels – which can result in the problem becoming worse. Make the switch to a specific cleanser designed to be gentle on oily skin such as the Environ B-Active range.
  • Puffy eyes and Dark Circles
A combination of late nights and fluid retention contribute to dark, puffy eyes. As well as getting an early night and drinking plenty of water make sure you’re using a decent eye cream. Environ’s C-Quence Eye Gel is enriched with vitamins and antioxidants. Its gentle formula is perfect for the delicate skin around the eye area, dab gently around onto skin for brighter eyes.
  • Dry Lips
The weather is all over the place at the moment, wreaking havoc with our skin. Treat dry, cracked lips to a burst of moisture with Environ Sun Care RAD Lips – a vitamin-infused lip balm designed to protect lips and stop chapping.
  • Cellulite
As summer approaches we turn our thoughts to summer holidays and those dreaded bikinis and bathing suits. Over 80% of women aged over 20 suffer from cellulite, so we’re not alone. A routine of body brushing, toning exercises and massages along with a good body cream packed with vitamin A and C – such as the A, C and E Body Oil – will help minimise the appearance of cellulite.
  • Stretch Marks
Whether from pregnancy or as a result of weight changes, stretch marks can have a huge effect on your confidence. Whilst it can be hard to make them disappear altogether, there are treatments and creams designed to minimise them such as the Vitamin A, C and E Body Oil. Massage into skin morning and night followed by a moisturising treatment such as the Body Derma-Lac Lotion.
Caci Treatments

Benefits of CACI Treatments

Improving your appearance doesn’t have to mean resorting to surgery. In the beauty industry today there are a plethora of non-surgical alternatives available, which provide a lasting change to skin and the way you feel about yourself – CACI are at the forefront of non-surgical treatments and have been for more than 20 years.

With celebrity fans and a host of benefits CACI treatments deliver amazing results for skin problems; they’re even nicknamed “The Non-Surgical Facelift” thanks to their impressive results. CACI, which stands for Computer Aided Cosmetology Instrument, uses a combination of micro current and hydrating treatments, as number one anti-ageing treatment within the beauty industry.

The wide range of treatments can take care of a number of skin issues for a lasting fix. The CACI Ultimate treatment, a favourite of actress and singer Jennifer Lopez, uses micro current technology to tighten facial muscles in a similar way to Botox – minus the need for needles and surgery. A Microdermabrasion treatment removes dead skin cells from the treatment areas, encouraging skin cell renewal for fresher looking skin which lasts.

CACI are known for being at the forefront of advancing technology and the latest addition to their treatment list – the Jowl Lift – uses new Quad Probe applicators. With double the lifting action the jowl lift facial is designed to target muscles around the jaw line and enhance results from the CACI treatment system in a shorter time.

5 Skincare Tips for Busy Mums

As a mum ‘me’ time is hard to find. With never ending to-do lists looking after yourself and your skin usually ends up at the bottom of that list. But there are simple changes and things you can do to ensure that you’re not the last priority at the end of a busy day.

  1. Keep hydrated
When you’re focusing on keeping little ones fed and watered it’s easy to forget to do the same thing yourself. Drinking enough water is the simplest and easiest away to keep you and your skin looking and feeling its best. It’s recommended you drink around 6-8 glasses a day, keep a bottle on you throughout the day so you don’t forget.
  2. Moisturise
Keeping skin hydrated and moisturised will provide the perfect base for make-up and promote a healthier skin appearance. Leave yourself at least 5 minutes after your shower to apply your moisturiser. Treat yourself to a skin scan at our next skincare event on March 7th and discover how healthy your skin is and get some valuable advice.
  3. Permanent hair removal
Most of us loathe the time-consuming task of shaving and waxing away unwanted hair. Invest in a course of permanent hair removal treatments and there’ll be one less thing to worry about in your busy routine. Electrolysis and IPL are two of the most effective ways to permanently remove unwanted hair, eliminating the problem at the hair root to minimise and stop re-growth.
  4. Change your make-up routine
Introduce mineral make-up into your routine, not only does it leave skin with a healthy finish but it’s good for it too. The Jane Iredale cosmetics range is so effective at keeping skin healthy and fresh whilst providing coverage that it’s recommended by plastic surgeons and dermatologists. Make an appointment with Jane Iredale make-up artist Sarah at our event on March 7th for advice and experience the difference of Jane Iredale make-up.
  5. Relax
With Mother’s Day just around the corner take a well-deserved rest. Whether that’s taking the time to indulge in your favourite hobby, or booking yourself a relaxing lava shell massage and escape reality even if just for an hour.

Manicure Offer September 2011

20% off Gelac nails manicure in September

Grab a great deal today before it ends on 30th September.

Gelac is a lightweight gel polish that combines the long-lasting effects of a gel nail with the easy application of a regular varnish. The process requires a UV lamp for "curing" and is the "must-have 14-day manicure – no chipping, no smudging, no kidding!"

It's also good for strengthening weak nails and promoting growth.

Although your therapist will prepare your nails, it's a good idea to remove any regular polish (Gelac polish requires a special removal process, so your technician will do this if you are a return customer), and make sure your hands are clean.

Hot tip! Keep in touch with your nail technician so you can be first to know about new colour ranges!
